Akasathinte Niram (English: The Colour of Sky) is a 2012 Malayalam feature film written and directed by Dr. Biju. The film was shot entirely against the breathtaking backdrop of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, capturing untouched landscapes and the harmony between nature and human life.

The cast includes acclaimed actors Indrajith, Nedumudi Venu, Amala Paul, and Prithviraj, who bring depth and nuance to this visually rich narrative.

The film had its world premiere at the Shanghai International Film Festival in June 2012 and was later showcased at multiple international festivals, earning critical recognition and honours.

On a remote, pristine island lives a 60-year-old man who survives by crafting handicrafts and visiting the nearby harbour once a month to sell them. His simple life is disrupted when a young burglar jumps onto his boat demanding money. Calm and unfazed, the old man steers him towards the island, unknowingly trapping the intruder there.
